The Snakedoctors "saw the light" in the end of 1995 from an idea of the guitar player Mariano Marin. He's the band's former with Marco Terminio on vocal, Cox Dell'Orto on bass and Diego Corradin on drums.
The Snakedoctors have received rave reviews all over Italy, getting the crowd up'n dancing everywhere they have performed.

During December '96 and January '97 the band was in Dallas - TX where the 'Snakes played for a couple of weeks in the most well-known city clubs like "The Bone", "Muddy Waters", "Hole in The Wall", "Miss Behavin (New Years Eve Party)", "Greenville Bar & Grill" and "The Schooners". They had the crowd on their feet during many red-hot, unforgettable jams and this was also the start of a long lasting friendship with some of the best Texas bluesmen: Mike Morgan, Hash Brown, Holland K.Smith, Jim Shuler and many others.

In December '97 Paolo Castiglioni replaced Cox Dell'Orto on bass.

January '99 saw the Snakes publishing their first CD, "Hot Strings", with help from fellow Italian musicians like Alberto Marsico (C3 Hammond e Piano), Egidio "Juke" Ingala (Harmonica) e Gigi Cifarelli (Guitar).

January 2000 Roberto Stefani replaced Diego Corradin on drums.

In May 2000 The Snakedoctors plays with Doug Jay on his Italian tour.

In September 2004 The Snakedoctors's debut release "Hot Strings" has been added to the USA's label Pacific Blues Recording Co.

The band's live show features their own songs from the CD and covers from some of the most famous blues artists of all times. The 'Snakes are "picky" in their choices and have always looked for music that speaks to their hearts as well as the listeners'. They play Texas blues, Rock'n Roll and Roots Rock like they mean it and favor short, turbo-charged, can't-stand-still songs that have the crowd on its feet all the time.
